ArtWorks:

T-Shirt Artwork—Iron-on Transfers

The files in this section are intended to be used to print iron-on transfers.

To use them you will need 1) the file, 2) a sheaf of inkjet or laser transfer papers. (Office Depot or similar.) 3) a printer. 4) an iron with a hot setting and 5) a spirit of adventure.

There are two sorts of files here: Preview files and “flopped” files. Preview files are small right-reading files that you can easily look at and admire as you try to decide what you want to print on the front and/or back of your t-shirt. “Flopped” files are “reverse reading” --the print appears as it would in a mirror. These are the files that you print from. (The process of ironing on the art reverses the art left to right. So to come out right reading the art has to be printed in reverse. Don’t worry about this. It only sounds confusing. When you get started actually working with it it’s all pretty obvious.)

Here's the grid of available T-shirts. clicking on any of these will result in your downloading a flopped, reverse-reading file suitable for printing onto transfer paper. Enjoy!

Anti-Anti-Fiber Artwork

This initial batch reacts to BellSouth's Anti-Fiber Petition. The documents are all editable PDF files; feel free to play and alter to your heart's content. The pieces are set up to make reproduction as easy as possible. Starting with the files that contain a single image you can print a one-off or build a new file containing any size or configuration. The multiple image files are set up to fit on a standard letter size page. Click on the image of a file you'd like to download. Your browser will either download it to your hard drive or open it in a window from which you can save it to your local machine.

Have fun! I did

I'd be happy, nay thrilled, to add more such seditious stuff if you are inspired to send me some. John St. Julien
